Saucy Cocktail Meatballs
1 lb ground chuck
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1/3 cup minced onions
1/4 cup milk
1 egg
1 tblsp parsley flakes
1 tsp salt, dash of pepper
1/2 tsp wochestershire sauce
Sauce:
1 12oz bottle chili sauce
1 10 oz jar grape jelly
Mix meat, bread crumbs, onion, milk, egg, parsley, salt, pepper and worchestershire sauce. Gently shape into 1" balls. Melt oil in skillet, brown meatballs, drain off fat, heat chilli sauce and jelly in skillet, stirring constantly until jelly is melted. Add meatballs and stir until thouroughly coated. Simmer uncovered about 30 min. Makes 5 dozen. Thanks to Melinda Sharrit.
