Quick Dinner Rolls
1 pkg. active dry yeast
1 c. warm water
2 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp shortening
1 tsp salt
1 egg
2 1/4 cup flour

Dissolve yeast in water. Add sugar, shortening and
salt. Add half of flour and egg. Stir. Add rest of flour and
stir well. Let rise for 30 minutes. Stir down and spoon into
greased muffin cups. Let rise in warm place for 15 minutes.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 12
